Sample Letter To Parent From Teacher About Behavior

It is the duty of a school Principal to not only inform students about bad behavior in class and on school premises but also to take a moral stand in commitment to the betterment of a student’s future.

Parents should not be notified by the Principal every time their child creates a problem in class or school or misbehaves with the teacher or other staff. A school is an institution where students are also given behavioral guidance and regular study course teachings.

Therefore, the Principal and the teachers will need to make concerted efforts to correct a student’s bad attitude and behavior by giving him appropriate advice after issuing several warnings and making enough attempts to rectify the student’s wrongful conduct if he continues this same path. Then the school must draft a letter to his parents and meet with them to discuss their child’s problematic behavior in school.

The letter should be crafted so that it doesn’t hurt the parents’ feelings and suggests an earnest desire to improve the student’s behavior for their excellent. After all, parents usually like to hear compliments about their children instead of complaints.

If a student continues to behave inconsiderately after being repeatedly warned and given guidance from both their parents and the school, then the Principal will be forced to write a strong warning letter. This letter may even recommend rustication (a temporary suspension) or expulsion from school.
