Tuition must be paid in full at the time of registration for all courses. Cash, personal checks, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are acceptable forms of payment. Please note that Quincy College cannot accept starter checks or checks without an address. Fees are non-refundable.

Student IDs

You may purchase a student identification card at the time you register for classes. If you register for 9 or more credits you will automatically be charged a one time $30 picture ID fee. Student ID pictures are taken in the Security Office, Room 333 on the 3rd floor of Presidents Place, 1250 Hancock Street in Quincy Center, and at the Front Desk at the Plymouth Campus. This ID card serves as proof of identification on campus and is required to gain access to libraries and some commercial establishments.

You are required to carry this card on you at all times while on campus. There is a fee of $30 for a replacement picture ID card. If you are a returning student, you may have your old ID card validated with a current semester sticker. These stickers are available through the Registrar at the time you register for classes. You may contact the Resource Office by calling 617-984-1738 if you have any questions regarding ID cards.

Note: Student ID’s are available Monday-Thursday from 9am-3pm.

International Tuition, Fees & Living Expenses

Unlike many colleges in the United States, Quincy College does not charge a higher tuition rate to its international students. Below is a list of programs offered at Quincy College and the estimated cost of tuition and fees, as well as living expenses. Immigration Services requires that the college obtain certification that you have the financial resources to provide adequately for your college and living expenses.

Supporting documentation is required, such as bank statements, or letters of support.

*Tuition and fee figures based on 12 credits per semester. Additional charges apply for each credit over 12. All fees non-refundable and subject to change. Health insurance is $3,599 for the 2017-18 Spring-Summer semesters. Annual 2017-18 – $1,712.

**Estimate of living expenses includes the cost of food, lodging, transportation to and from school, books, health insurance and spending money. Expenses usually vary from town to town, depending on where you live. The total does not include transportation to and from the student’s country. Expenses are for a nine-month academic year. Students must show an additional $5,000 for a spouse in F-2 status and an additional $5,000 per dependent for living expenses.

All international students must purchase the college sponsored health insurance. The MASS regulations 114.6 CMR 3.04 (3) © state that “Coverage by insurance carriers outside the U.S. and coverage by foreign National Health Services programs are deemed not to be comparable to coverage under a qualifying student health insurance program.”

All college charges are due and payable in full for each semester at the time of registration.

All financial statements submitted must be valid within six months of the intended program start date. The costs listed above are subject to change without notice.

Housing

Quincy College has no on-campus housing, students must find their own accommodations.

Military & Veteran Tuition

Veteran Discount

Any veteran or spouse of veteran who is not covered 100% by a VA education benefit can receive a veteran tuition rate of $152.00* per credit. In order to receive the discount, the veteran or spouse must provide the Military and Veteran Services Office with a copy of their signed DD214, and if applicable proof of spouse’s service (DD214) and copy of marriage license.

*Does not include Computer Science, Science labs or Nursing, Surgical Technology, Medical Laboratory Technician, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiologic Technology, Biotechnology Courses or Natural and Health Sciences classes.

Need a payment plan for your semester?

We charge a $50 payment plan fee per semester, tuition and fees are combined and divided into three equal monthly payments. Missed payments are subject to a $75 late fee. No transcripts will be released until accounts are paid in full.

Payment Options

All tuition and fees must be paid for at time of registration with cash, check, credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover), bank debit card or by having approved Financial Aid in place (e.g., federal/state grants, loans, and scholarships).

Students can also be enrolled with pre-approved payment plans or third-party arrangements (e.g., VA benefits, employer tuition reimbursement programs).

Students enrolled under financial aid, deferred payment plan, or third-party arrangements are reminded that the student is responsible for full tuition, fees, and bookstore charges and will not be permitted to register for future semesters, graduate, receive transcripts or diplomas until balance is paid in full. Students are urged to speak with the Student Accounts Office at Presidents Place for any further guidance.

Any unpaid student balances will be placed on hold and students will not be permitted to receive diplomas, transcripts, participate in graduation or be allowed to register for further semesters. In addition, should balances remain unpaid, the College reserves the right to begin collection proceedings against the student, including referral to collection agencies and reporting to credit bureaus. Should this happen, the student will be responsible for all costs associated with collecting said account, up to 40% of the principle balance, as allowed by Massachusetts General Laws.
